We've received a lot of positive feedback from you about the upgraded chip reader. The changes to our website will allow you to sign-up in two clicks instead of three. The new interface is more user-friendly and we're happy to help you get set up.
When you receive your chip reader, it will be equipped with a credit card reader as well. If you’re working with a second reader, we recommend that you include the following email address in your EMV Registration Request: dealer@EMVChipReader.com.

EMV Chip Reader / Writer
There are many different types of magnetic stripe cards used worldwide, but the chip and card format used by EMV (Europay, MasterCard, Visa) cards are the most common. These chips are one-of-a-kind so no "universal" readers and writers exist. Many cards have both a magnetic stripe and an EMV chip. Others have only the stripe, or only the chip.EMV chip cards are embedded with an ISO 7816-4 chip. Europay, MasterCard, and Visa each have their own embedded chip. Card readers and writers for EMV cards only, unlike some of the other magnetic stripe card readers and writers, are ISO 7816 compatible and can read and write any ISO 7816 card. This article will only cover the EMV readers and writers.EMV cards can be damaged during printing or by exposure to heat. If a magnetic stripe card is damaged, for example a card that has been printed, then the card reader will still work, but the magnetic stripe card will be "dead" and not work with it. EMV cards can also be damaged during transport. The EMV chip embedded in an EMV card can be damaged if the card is exposed to heat or humidity. Additionally, some EMV cards can be damaged if the magnetic stripe side is also exposed to heat or humidity.
